Christmas Decorations 2009

I am so excited to be participating in The Nester tour of blogs (= . I was so excited to decorate this year because last year we decided not to for some odd reason. I can't exactly remember why /= Anyways...Here is our decorations in our apartment

This is our main tree in our living room. We decided to go with a little one while we were in an apartment for right now, and I just love it. It is decorated in our sentimental ornaments. I have many Lenox ornaments from my great aunt who gave me one every Christmas since I was born and John has some of his White House ornaments that his Grandmother has given him. We also threw in some of the ornaments I got when we decorated our first tree together when were dating (=

Here is one of my faves that my mom gave us for our first Christmas together

And John's White House ones....
Of course what home is not complete without some poinsettias

I work at Michaels part time, and found this next tree for a great deal....so I just had to get it (=

We found some small ornaments at Hob Lob this weekend. They are black and silver. I have been on a mad search for some zebra ribbon to tie on it, but have had no luck yet

This is next tree is our last tree. Yes, we might not have a big one but I made up with 3 smaller ones.

I call this my peacock tree and it's my fav!!! I got this baby after Thanksgiving and decorated her up in peacock colors of aqua blue, olive green & brown. Michael's had some beautiful frosted balls and I snatched them up. I then wrapped it in brown ribbon. There is so much more that I would love to do to it like add some feathers (=

This is one of my favorite nativity sets. We received this as a "late" wedding presents from some sweet friends and I love the colors on it and the gold leafing on all of the pieces.

And last, but not least my precious Hunter boy wishing you a Merry Christmas and thanks for stopping by!

Merry Christmas from the Fones Family!
